ANOTHER MILESTONE! Burna Boy becomes the first Nigerian artiste to hit number 1 on UK Apple albums
Nigerian afrobeats singer, Burna Boy must be on top the world currently as he is having back to back achievements musically.
The self-acclaimed African Giant released an Twice As Tall album in the early hours of Friday, August 14, 2020 and just hours after it dropped, the project has hit the number 1 spot on UK Apple top albums.
He is officially the first Nigerian artiste to achieve such feat, as even his counterparts, Wizkid and Davido are yet to reach such milestone. The information was shared by music data collation firm, Charts Nigeria.
Similarly, Twice As Tall album also peaked at number 1 on Apple top albums in 14 different countries, Nigeria inclusive.
The countries are South Africa, Ghana, Botswana, Gambia, Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritius, Mozambique, Oman.
